History: Satkania is an Upazila of Chittagong District under Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh with an area of 280.99 sq km and Demsha is the largest village of Satkania. It is a place of peace and happiness. It is famous for its religious, cultural and educational activities. This is the center point of Satkania, is bounded by village Nalua on the north, village Rampur on the south, Kaliaish on the east, Aochia and Charati on the west. Maximum Devotees of Satkania are living there.
Satsang Vihar Satkania is a temple of Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra started its journey in Demsha since October 2008 by the blessing of present Acharya Sree Sree Dada and direct supervision of Rev.  Anindaduiti Chakraborty (Binkida).
Structure: Total land area of the vihar is about 1.2 acre and another 0.8 acre is in under processing to buy. The whole place is sheltered with green environment with lots of trees which making it a sacred place of peace & healing.

The main building is situated at the South side having four portions - 
1.    Prayer Hall
2.    Dwelling lodge for Thakur Family
3.    Dwelling lodge for Guru Bhai (Devotee)
4.    Kitchen with a large place of anandabazar for distributing Prasad.

There is a beautiful pond on the way to vihar from where the devotees and visitors from different far & near places get the water for various purposes. There is a huge open place in the middle where all the major gathering takes place on the eve of various religious ceremonies time to time.

Activities: Morning Prayer and evening prayer is held every day. All the devotees of adjacent area get together every morning & evening as per the time schedule of the Satsang. This prayer time is unique all over the world for Satsang followers and it varies from month to month.
Satsang Vihar Satkania arranges a monthly Satsang gathering on first Friday of every month. All the devotees of Satkania come there to attend the Satsang. The ceremony consists of mainly Prayer, Kirton (prayer in the form of religious songs) and speeches of experienced devotees on the philosophy of Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra etc. Satsang start from 10.00 a.m. and continues for about two hours. There is an arrangement of Anandabazar (Prasad Distribution) after Satsang ceremony.

It arranges all the Diksha Utsab (registration as devotee) which is declared for Bangladesh from Satsang Deoghar,Jharkhand, India. Generally this kind of ceremony takes place about four times in a year.

Another heavenly activity of the vihar is its cultural wings named as Sangit Niketon (School of Music). Nearest devotees of Satsang Vihar Satkania gather once in a week for learning classical music that mainly related to religious flavor. A music guru is devoted to teaching the interested devotees all the areas of singing with highest love and care.

The most gorgeous festival is the yearly birth celebration of Param Premamoy Sree Sree Thakur which is one of the best moments of the religious Hindus of Bangladesh. Devotees from entire Bangladesh come to the vihar to celebrate this holy moment with a motto of brotherhood of warmth and equality. A team consists of some learned devotees from Tripura and other parts of India also come there to enlighten this heavenly Jonmo-mohotsab.
