Buddha Dhatu Jadi (golden temple):
Buddha Dhatu Jadi is a Theravada Buddhist temple, named as golden
temple of Bandarban among the travelers and tourists. This is as an imperative tourist spot of Bandarban district. The
temple is located on the peak of a high hill adjacent to the
Bandarban-Rangamati road. This is the largest Theravada Buddhist Temple
in Bangladesh and the second largest Buddha statue in Bangladesh lies
there. The temple is built on top of a (200 feet or 60 meters) high
hill. Construction of the temple started in 1995 and was complete in
2000.
History: Satkania is an
Upazila of Chittagong District under Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh
with an area of 280.99 sq km and Demsha is the largest village of
Satkania. It is a place of peace and happiness. It is famous for its
religious, cultural and educational activities. This is the center point
of Satkania, is bounded by village Nalua on the north, village Rampur
on the south, Kaliaish on the east, Aochia and Charati on the west.
Maximum Devotees of Satkania are living there.

History: The Aochia Sree sree Brahmmamaee Kalimandir and Sree Sree Krisnamandir was founded in 1930 by the then govt. official Sree Dinesh chandra sengupta. Once it was a mud built temple of Goddess Kali . By the tireless efforts and leadership of Sree Sujit Kanti Dutta and the devotion of the inhabitants of Aochia, the temple became one of the most famous temples of south Chittagong. The blessings of Swami Sree Sree Sintahoran Puri Moharaj play an important role of its progress.
